Yes, we've been to the boathouse several times, we've never regretted it until now, the food was always good. It is also recommended for family celebrations, you only have to work a little on the music, or organize something yourself. LG Loni

Small menu but excellent cooked. Best roast wild boar we've ever had. Rustic family atmosphere. The locals eat there ... that says it all. The hosts are attentive in their service and very friendly. And it was inexpensive too.

There were three of us to eat there today. If you know where it is from Google Maps, you can easily find your way. The food was very tasty and will come back to eat on Thursday. Also absolutely ok in terms of price. The 2 nice operators also do their best to serve the guests. All in all, I can recommend the gas site without hesitation.

The terrace is well located, and the service reacts quickly to customer requests. Kind being. Farmer's breakfast very tasty. Cake was fresh from the refrigerator but good.

The hammer 🔨 The landscape invites you to go hiking, the Silberbach accompanies you through the forest around the corner around the pond. An idyllic landscape. And then feed on nuts. The fairest prices, cool indoor and outdoor seating and the food is delicious. Once out of Thale, exactly there: Boathouse, five stars from us. We will be back.

The food tastes fantastic. You can sit relaxed on the terrace and end the day. Hustling city dwellers and spoiled vegetarians should eat somewhere else. We find it very cozy and always come back. Many thanks to the friendly landlords. 👍👍👍

2 * for the friendly service. But the food ?? A flat schnitzel from the discounter chest, watery hollandaise sauce. For 14.- really not recommended.

Great place - homemade, honest food. My favorite quote from the landlady: "I don't have such a ready-made sauce here". Absolute must in the Harz.

Small restaurant with good food, celebrated a birthday there. The buffet was well put together and nicely presented. The owner played music throughout the celebration and the owner took care that nothing went out at the buffet. But unfortunately a star deduction, the operation was a bit slow. Otherwise I can only recommend the restaurant "Altes Bootshaus".

For vegetarians not suitable the malzeit stock then from potatoes, beans and red cabbage. Of the meat dishes I was told was delicious, but only warmed up. Service seemed very stressed though restaurant not completely full and several colleagues there.
